As your thimble stretches or if it doesn't fit right from the beginning. Pull the thimble apart and using washable school glue fit the thimble to your finger again

If the plastic protector is not quite where you need it. pull the thimble apart, remove the leather cover and plastic protector and glue them back on the thimble where you need it. then reglue the thimble around your finger. 

Resize and move the plastic to where you need it on the new finger.
